Where will you spend eternity?
Answer these two questions:
1. If you died today, do you know for sure that you would be with God?
2. If you did die today, and stood before God and he said to you, "Why should I let you into my
presence?" what would you say?
The Bible says "There is no one righteous, not even one..." (Romans 3:10); and that "All have sinned and fall short of God's perfection" (Romans 3:23).
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).
The Bible also says there is a punishment for sinning. "For the wages of sin is DEATH, but the gift of God is eternal life" (Romans 6:23).
God has provided the solution to our problem. "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with
your mouth that you confess and are saved" (Romans 10: 9-10).
Here's the greatest news: "EVERYONE who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13). To
all who receive Jesus, to those who believe on his name, God will give them the
right to become children of God. (John 1:12)
Jesus said, "You must be born again." If you want to make sure that you will spend eternity with Jesus, ask
for his mercy, ask him to
forgive your sin and repent, which means to change your mind and turn from your
way of doing things, and then put your trust in Jesus. He paid the debt that you owe to God for sinning against him.
"For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life" Ephesians 2:8-10.
"Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one goes to God except through him" (John 14:6).
