1) VBS - All ages?

We're putting together VBS hurriedly this year, We've agreed we want programs for all ages, including singles and couples. People are convinced the time frame requires we use a prepared curriculum--what would you recommend?

--from SSTN: I would recommend the BE-Attitudes for Kids and Adults. It is not specific to VBS, but could be incorporated for use as a VBS program. You can find these resources located at:
http://www.sundayschoolnetwork.com/curriculum_beatitudes.htm

2) Meaningful Summer Topic?

For summer, we're looking to teach something that will be meaningful even for those who will only be there occasionally. I was thinking of the parables. Any suggestions?
Anne L. Haehl--I tell stories.

--from SSTN: the Parables are great topics because they make specific and unique points about the kingdom of God. They also don't depend on previous ones to understand them. Please check out the following Parables of Jesus series: http://www.sundayschoolnetwork.com/curriculum-parables-of-Jesus.html

3) Girls and Wild, Wild West?

Go to www.onewaystreet.com and click on their forum. You can ask questions and seasoned puppet ministers will help you.

7) Sixty-Six Books song?

I am looking for a song. It begins with, Sixty-six books in the whole Bible and each one has a part...
Are you able to tell me where I can get the words and music? My children listened to it in the 1970s.
Thank you, Barb

--from SSTN:

Hi Barb,

Yes, you can find that on CD in our bookstore by typing the title, "Amazing Book" into the search box at:
http://www.sundayschoolnetwork.com/bookstore.html
(The CD version has all the songs listed, including the one you're looking for.)

8) A.S.A.P. = Always Say A Prayer

Ever wonder about the abbreviation A.S.A.P.? Generally we think of it in terms of even more hurry and stress in our lives. Maybe if we think of this abbreviation in a different manner, we will begin to find a new way to deal with those rough days along the way.

There's work to do, deadlines to meet;
You've got no time to spare,
But as you hurry and scurry-
ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

In the midst of family chaos,
'Quality time' is rare.
Do your best; let God do the rest-
ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER.

It may seem like your worries
Are more than you can bear.
Slow down and take a breather-
ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

God knows how stressful life is;
He wants to ease our cares,
And He'll respond to all your needs
A.S.A.P. - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER.

Wishing you many blessings!
