An Rx for Life: Bible Verses for Spiritual Health


You Will Need: a Bible; a clean, empty medicine bottle; a stick-on label; paper; scissors or paper cutter. Bible verses are to be "taken" daily to improve Spiritual health and general well-being. 

Print the following information on the label:

Made with love by: (giver's name).
Rx for: (recipient's name).
For: Health, Hope, Happiness.
Dosage: Read one daily or as needed for inspiration.
Contents: 31 Bible Verses -- Medicine for the Spirit.
Important: Prolonged Use may eliminate tension, anxiety, insomnia, fear and despair.
Warning: May cause Lightheartedness.

Adhere label to the medicine bottle.

Print out the following Scriptures, cut them apart, and then place them inside the bottle. Bible references are from the King James Version and the New International Version:

For with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37).

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:14).

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me (Psalms 23:4).

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (John 1:9).

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom I shall be afraid? (Psalm 27:1).

Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord makest me dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8).

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer and while they are yet speaking, I will hear (Isaiah 65:24).

Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you (Matthew 7:7).

Do not fear, and I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you (Isaiah 41:10). 

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you . . . Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).

If God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31).

And all things, whatsoever ye ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive (Matthew 21:22).


For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

For they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God my strength, in whom I will trust (Psalm 18:2).

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6).

But you are a shield around me, O Lord; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head (Psalm 3:3).

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospererth (III John 2).

I will never leave thee nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5).

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (Timothy 1:7).

'For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds,' saith the Lord (Jeremiah 30:17).

May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13).

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9).

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise (Jeremiah 17:14).

Gentle words cause life and health (Proverbs 15:4).

But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

A merry heart doeth good like medicine (Proverbs 17:22).

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

This is the day the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24).

If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved (Romans 10:9).

He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:10,11).
