I wonder if anyone knows of a tune for the Lord's Prayer. In the fall we plan to introduce Theatre Arts for grade 234 using sticks. I don't know if this has a name, I've only seen it done by our young teens and it's so gripping and effective. We also plan on teaching this prayer so thought it a great place to start with the stick art, but we do need a suitable tune. We have a rock version which we may or maynot use but I would certainly like them to learn a more reflective reverant version which we could use for the stick art. Thanks for any suggestions Brenda

we are doing the space thing for vbs and would like any ideas for crafts or decorations. thanks!!
Dear Connie, I read what you suggested on memorizing the Old Testament books. I loved it! We started last night in my children's church class. They came up with Go Eat Lettuce Now Dude. Now I'm challenged to come up with something new for next week. Thanks for the tip!

8) Memorizing Old Testament books
I would like to thank Connie G. for posting her ideas on how to learn the OT books! I love the idea and I'm sure that my students will too. It seems they can learn the NT books, but the OT are always "hard" for them. I know that these little phrases Connie has given will help
tremendously.
I just wanted to add the one I use for a part of the NT books that my kids got mixed up on a lot: "Chuckie, Chuckie Go Eat Popcorn Chuckie" (I and II Corinthians, Galations, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians)
Thanks so much Sarah for this terrific place for Sunday School Teachers to go to for help. I can't even begin to tell you how often I use the ideas I get from here. Thanks. June New York
