1) Skits for Three People

This is just a suggestion: Have you looked in puppet skit books? a lot of time puppet skits only involve two or three puppets...most are quite comical but some are quite serious and maybe one of these could be adapted to actual people rather than puppets.

--from SSTN: you can check out puppet skit books in our affiliate bookstore. Just type "Christian Puppet Skits" into the search box to locate them at:
http://www.sundayschoolnetwork.com/bookstore.html

2) Skit with three characters

You could use my skit (Perfect Gift on the skits page) and use a nativity set instead of kids.

Tanya

--from SSTN: you can find Tanya's skit by going to the Christmas-Skits page at:

3) Effective Teaching Materials

Praise the Lord the staff of SSTN and thanks for the work you are doing in God's vineyard. According to the details i have been receiving from you i have found out that we need to build a strong relationship with you. Am a Ugandan and a clergy {Anglican] who is in charge of the youth and children in the diocese of Mityana-Uganda. But the time i have spent in this office i have come to find out that we lack Sunday school teachers and the few who are trained are lacking materials to use when ministering to the children. Therefore i humbly request to you help me with materials which will help the teachers to be effective the ministry.

Hope to hear from you.

5) Lost Coin Game

This game teaches the heart of the Lost Coin parable--God searches for those who are lost and doesn't give up until they are found. To use it in your children's ministry, go to our Anytime Bible Games section at:

6) God Works--You Serve

We read in the book of Acts of people who were amazed at what was happening when the believers got together on the day of Pentecost. They were questioning as to “What means this?” Peter started answering their questions by giving them the Gospel message. Similarly, we read in Chapter 3 of the book of Acts that the onlookers were “filled with wonder and amazement” at that which had happened to the lame man who was healed at the gate of the temple called “Beautiful” (Acts 3: 2-10). Here again, Peter answered them by giving the message of the Gospel.

The above incidents indicate that God was working while the disciples ministered. The people who were filled with amazement wanted to know what exactly was the cause behind what they had witnessed. It became easy for Peter to give a direct message with boldness and power. We may ask ourselves about the result that God brings in during our ministry as well as the response of our audience. I believe people should see the way we minister, in order that they make questions to which our answer can be the ‘Gospel Message’.

Unfortunately our audience who watch our lives may raise questions about our faults, failures and even our lifestyle that may be contrary to what Christ intends for us. Is it possible to correct these pitfalls? What are the things that we need to redo in our lives? Are we involved in ministry, expecting God to work and give us results?

Our communication should make the Gospel relevant to the needs of the people. Let us aspire for a Christ-centered and spirit-empowered ministry.

With warm Christian regards,
Dr. George Samuel
