1) Prayer for Sarah Keith and Family

Dear Teachers and Support Partners,

I'm writing to ask you to pray for my family and me. I haven't sent a teacher's newsletter in over two weeks because it has been one of the most stressful times in my life. My mother entered hospice care four weeks ago and passed away October 24. This is glorious for her, because she loved Jesus. However, two weeks ago my husband fell and cracked his skull. He has been in intensive care for two weeks in critical condition. His prognosis is not good, but we serve a God of miracles. Please join me in praying for a miracle for Bob, my husband of 31 years. Please pray for my peace of mind and health, and for my three adult children to be drawn closer to God. Hold us in your prayers.

I don't know what this means for my ministry here at SSTN. But God knows. I am thankful for Christians around the world who are praying for us. And for our church family who have been bringing us meals, prayers, and comfort.

Standing by God's grace!
Your webservant,
Sarah Keith <><

P.S. when I asked for ideas regarding "Falling for Jesus," I never dreamed an actual fall would change the course of our lives. But God is in control. I know that he HAS allowed this for a reason. Maybe this will be the event to turn our sons' hearts back to Jesus!

2) Falling for Jesus

I am a Sunday School Superintendent as well as teach 5th & 6th grades.

Last year in the fall I put some real tree branches in a heavy container and placed it in our parish hall. Every child was given a construction paper leaf (assorted colors). Each child was asked to write on their leaf why they love Jesus or what Jesus means to them. On the base of my container I placed a picture of Jesus captioned with "Falling for Jesus." The children then taped their leaves to branches of the tree. The congregation enjoyed reading what the children wrote on their leaves.
